The sandstone in the slot canyons around Antelope Canyon is actually cut and shaped by wind more than water, though water plays a role.

Crazy Tuesday

(Old Tech-Worked great and has only one purpose. No battery or power needed, and I need not tap the screen like my Fitbit for timing info! it is definitely not like a Fitbit.)

In the past several weeks I've been setting up a spare room/darkroom/office so I can whittle away at old less than desirable slides I have taken over the years and attempt to make a little something out of them. As most of you may have noticed, it seems that much of my photography also happens on less than desirable days, such as this day in January of 1986 at Springfield, MA. However, it seems to me that my small investments may have a sunny side to them. This was a rather flat gray Agfachrome, but with a little bit of spit and polish it had turned out to be a rather acceptable view.

Anläßlich der Wintersonnenwende 2017, ab heute werden die Tage wieder länger.

Die Süntelbuchenallee im Kurpark Bad Nenndort bei Nacht als Langzeitbelichtung ohne Zuhilfenahme von Kunstlicht.

Es war stockfinstere Nacht, als ich dieses Bild aufgenommen habe. Man sah' die sprichwörtliche Hand vor Augen nicht. Umso wunderbarer, wieviel magisches Licht die Kamera nach knapp 4 Minuten Belichtungszeit eingesammelt hat.

I love messing up average shots to try and create something of interest. If I had a darkroom and a film camera, this is what I'd try

I wish this was a true camera shop, there’s a camera in the window I’ve been looking for. Some store fronts at Universal are actual shops, but this one is probably used for admin.

I wasn’t able to get this shot with the telephoto lens. Had to make a second walk by and use an iPhone to capture what I intended. Like I said, a few challenges.
