This impressive rock sculpture depicts the famous 'Dandi March' led by Mahatma Gandhi in 1931 against the Bristish Empire. The 'Namak Satyagraha' was Gandhiji's reply to the oppressive salt taxes imposed on Indians.
One can see this beautifully sculpted structure on the T-junction on Sardar Patel Marg from where the roads lead to Willingdon Crescent and Teen Murti House. This exquisite rock sculpture is the work of Mr. Devi Prasad Roy Choudhary.
