A dancing sloth bear outside of his owner''s home in Bilaspur, India. The bear is digging for food or water in the dirt. Withholding food was a tactic Kalandars commonly used to exert control over their bears. When they were fed, they were forced to eat unhealthy human food such as roti bread and cow's milk.
