El Desierto de Dalí también conocido como Desierto de Salvador Dalí es un desierto del suroeste de Bolivia, ubicado al sur del departamento de Potosí cerca de la comunidad Quetena Grande el desierto se destaca por sus estrañas formaciones rocosas.
El desierto esta dentro de la Reserva Nacional de Fauna Andina Eduardo Abaroa y al sur del Salar de Chalviri. Se encuentra a una altura promedio de 4750 msnm y tiene una superficie aproximada de 110 km².
Se denomina así porque es similar a algunos paisajes pintados por el pintor español Salvador Dalí, aunque él nunca supo de la existencia de este sitio.

Whilst most people go there with a tour, if you can (it takes some organising) go with your own 4 wheel drive and your own pace!
Close to the French border in Port Lligat, Catalunya, Spain the famous artist Salvador Dali lived and worked in this modernistic house for over fifty years. It is now a museum. One of the house's eccentricities are the two large egg sculptures on the roof.
Esta obra, creada en el año 2000, está inspirada en la pintura La mística de la estación de Perpiñán, pintada por Salvador Dalí en 1965. "Dalí dice:"Estoy muy feliz de que la estatua se coloque en este lugar, en una silla gigante. Es genial tener a Dalí frente a la estación.
El artista describe este logro como "una obra popular y accesible" e imagina, divertido, "jóvenes que podrán patinar alrededor».

Formby coast has a beautiful mix of pine trees and sand dunes along the miles of beach. Some of the scenes look quite surreal as if they were painted by Dail himself.
The Dali museum theater is a museum dedicated entirely to disseminate the artist's work and is located in the town of Figueres.
I want my museum to be a single block, a labyrinth, a great surrealist object. It will be totally theatrical museum. The people who come to see it will leave with the sensation of having had a theatrical dream.[1]:1

Chupa Chups is een Spaans lollymerk, dat in 1958 is opgericht door de zakenman Enric Bernat[1], maar sinds 2006 is het merk in handen van de Italiaans-Nederlandse snoepfabrikant Perfetti Van Melle.[2] De naam van het merk is afgeleid van chupar, het Spaanse woord voor zuigen.
Het logo is in 1969 ontworpen door de Spaanse surrealist Salvador Dalí.[3] De eerste slogan van het merk was "És rodó i dura molt, Chupa Chups" dat, vertaald uit het Catalaans, "het is rond en langdurend" betekent.

ive never been a big fan of hipster street art but this one of dali holdin a can always stood out to me as something unique and different.
