This shoplady was chatting with another lady her age in the next shop. While I was trying to buy some mixed fried seafood and understand the offers, the other lady called me cute boy. Long time since I've been called that :-)

The picture was shot during New Years Eve celebrations at Courtney Place, Wellington, New Zealand.
What I really noticed was that all younger people immediately took a photo pose as soon as they discovered me standing in from of them with my camera. They are all Instagram trained. No shoot without the "necessary pose". This happened to me I guess around 10 times that night. Incredible.... :-)

I will be off Flickr for awhile so thought I would post pictures of these 2 cuties. The lion cub was taken in Ruaha National Park, Tanzania and the Cheetah cub in Phinda Nature Reserve, South Africa. It was always a treat to see youngsters of any species.

One summer, not too long ago, I attended a John Fogerty concert at Woodstock. I rented an apartment from a lovely lady who had a superb green thumb. After admiring her garden nearest to the house, she presented me with a small pink pot filled with a unique plant I'd never seen before, the Oxalis. That flower has become one of my favorites and I am mesmerized every summer, not only by its petite delicate flowers, but by its fancy leaves.
I made quick work from my cuties this morning as I tried to be quiet while the family is sleeping. Didn't have enough to fill the frame but it works for today.
I will be off Flickr for awhile so thought I would post pictures of these 2 cuties. The lion cub was taken in Ruaha National Park, Tanzania and the Cheetah cub in Phinda Nature Reserve, South Africa. It was always a treat to see youngsters of any species. Another picture is in the comment box.

Last Saturday morning, I could capture these cuties.
They were sitting in the backlight, with the dew in the grass.
I have seen some activity from the parents the latest days, so I suspected there were young Foxes.
But I never thought I could see them outside the den so early. Never seen young foxes this early in the year.
Standing behind some bushes and the wind was advantageous for me. But still they noticed me.
Anyhow, didn't stay too long, because my day already succeeded while it had just started.
