When in my mind,
art dose form,
Everything becomes
but a dream.
Flipping, changing,
according to the
artist storm,
Beauty comes forth
with a clean seem.
The process of art
calms my form,
keeps me aligned
with a grander scheme.
Soul searching in the
midst of an artist's
thoughtful swarm,
Allows one to let out
the daydream.

The leaves are imitating Davy Jones,
perhaps they know where the locker may be.
Is it, Maybe, still in the sea?
The secret must be in the water,
how else would a tree have heard,
if it weren't for the secrets spoken in the rain
Of the famous pirate and his treasures of the sea?
I wonder if the secret they would impart to me.

Just for fun, playing with a photograph of last years fall leaves.
Mirrored and two fisheyes slightly to deepen the eyes.

Dragon or the wolf, who will win in the fight for dominance in the fiery battle of the soul.
The dragon stares down the wolf eyeing its next place to sink in its long sharp teeth.
While the wolf listens for the faltered beat of the tired dragons wings to slow.
Clashing together in the embers of the hell they have made.
Tearing apart the massive crust beneath the earth.
The battle rages on and yet we have no clue as to who will win.
Every now and then we get a glimpse of the struggle
when they burst through the earth and bring hell with them.
Created by photographing bark on a tree, cloudy day with flash. Mirroring and HDR filter applied.
Paper, card, acetate. It is tricky holding the acetate because you can't just glue it because then you see the glue through it. You have to think about where you glue it with an eye on how to later cover the glue.
Water, freezes, drips and flows.
It matters not where it goes.
Even the ice ebbs and flows.
Why then, would it not recognize
when it sees itself in us.
For within us water too flows.
This frozen water looking back at me,
it knows, it knows.
That in me its reflection shows.
Water and leaves frozen together, photographed in a white sink with flash. Mirrored saturated colors for a more pronounced visual of the ice.
Little creatures
crawling through
the dust
In the daylight hours
they have little trust.
Every corner is a
hiding spot filled with
a dirt crust.
Darkness creeps in
as its eyes glimmer
like stardust.
Dashing off and out of sight
for the comfort of an
unseen place is a must

Photograph of tree bark and rocks on the window sill with a lace curtain. Sun shines through the window and lace while the camera flash's creating shadows from the dim light in side.
Mirrored once with fish eye filter and vignette added.

Miss Robot is having a hard time in front of her Walk-In-Closet!
Collage made for last week's theme "Machines/ Robots on kollagekit.blogspot.com/
This precious copper
is often laced throughout
a space that is workable.
It keeps us moving
day and night being
so manageable.
Delicate but malleable
in many ways,
it makes ones life
more amenable.
Soft as it may be
its true strength,
lies with in its
ability to be pliable.
Perhaps the copper core
that runs our lives,
is more what we should seek
to be in order to be more viable.
Seems justifiable.
