This is my eighth postcrossing card and it is going to Alexandre in Brazil. I had a dream about a hummingbird the other morning that inspired this piece. It is constructed with papers, ink, colored pencil, and string. I really like this one a lot. The hummingbird was hand-drawn on grocery bag paper :)

ATC simple cut and paste collage. background Dylusions spray inks, inked edges and gel pen doodles. Stamped fairy from Dylusions and I hope Dyan Reavely will forgive me for renaming Ruby Rainbow. Stamped image coloured with Neocolour 11 watersoluble crayons. Hair embellished with perfect pearls.
One of the less common "named" Armand Marseille dolls in a small size (30cm/12") and with a particularly magnificent hair-do. She has fixed brown glass eyes, an open mouth with four tiny teeth, and a rivet-jointed pink oilcloth body with china hands (slightly chipped) and pink cloth lower legs. She is wearing antique, possibly original clothes (plain cotton chemise and simple cotton print dress with lace trim). She is marked "Darling" on the back of her neck, any other marks are hidden beneath her oilcloth body.
In the background is a Dutch edition ("Onze Lievelingen. Knip-Plak Prentenboek", Allert de Lange, Amsterdam 1923) of one of Frederick Warne's "Picture Puzzle Toy Books" called "Our Holidays" (ca. 1905). These "toy books" were a form of activity book, with sheets of images supplied which could be cut out and glued onto white spaces in the illustrations.
Here is a postcrosing postcard I made for Marta in Portugal. Showing my love of grass and the yard of course. Sorry the stripes, my scanner is crap.
