ATC simple cut and paste collage. Scrap papers background torn and edged with ink. Tree hand drawn with watercolour pencil. Leaves, flower border and owl cut from scrap papers. Embellished with ric rac ribbon, diamantes, stickles and glossy accents. Slip rings added to eyes for added texture. Inked edges on card.
Cut and paste collage. This is a very simple collage made using an orphaned cabinet photo mount. Years ago when I was doing decoupage I learned to extend a picture by painting its elements beyond its borders (I was not very good at it). I've tried to do a similar thing here using a photo and an illustration (no paint) and it is something I would like to do more of in the future.
