The tree in my back yard

on dark and stormy days

Becomes a life like creature

that peers out all gloomy and grey.

The water drips down

the thick recesses of the bark,

in well sought out paths,

eerily calling forth the beings

from within the tree.

Water, life giving water

falling from the sky

awakens my senses

and opens my eyes

to see.

The living souls all around us

the ones we do not see.

Other dimensions and places in time.

Uniquely linked and networked

in worlds unknown.

What we think we see,

we do not know

and what we think we know,

we do not see,

for blind are we to other lives

seeing not but our own.

Frozen blues come to mind

as the ice clearly envelopes

the plants I find.

If its spring?,

I certainly can not tell.

The cold has implanted

its self so well.

This frozen blue has a touch

of gold and a hint to a

special day.

The delicate cross in its

center suggests Easter

is on its way.

The sun will start shining

soon for the spiritual kind.

Bringing a peace for those

with a way to find

peace of mind.

Photograph of Ice wrapped around some tree branches on a blue towel. Mirrored only.

paper collage - 20 x 12 cm

handmade collage, 2013 (6.3x9.4in)

Sticks and stones and witches brew.

The cat in the pot is looking at you.

Eyes and teeth and bones in the nasty stew.

The witches season with things they grew.

Creepy crawling things that once flew.

In the nightmares of children that cat dose mew.

Under the snow

not under a bridge.

Is where this troll

of the snow dose live.

Many have tried to

play in the snow.

Only to return with

cold noses and toes.

Always seeking

refuge that a warm

home can give.

Be careful when

you venture out,

that your trip is

quick

Remember, under the

snow, is where the

snow troll dose live.

When a building is alive,

every corner can see you.

Following your every step

from the inner halls to your

car too.

Walking faster will not save you.

Be polite, do not write on the walls,

throw away your trash too.

These are just a few things

I would remember to do.

Least the building sees you

8.75x8.75" handmade collage.

Out of the fire the tiger leaps,

Silently following its prey.

Watch your young closely,

keep them away.

Fire is dangerous,

It dose not like to play.

Creeping through the night like a tiger,

It often finds its way.

So be safe, keep watch,

every night and day.

8x8" handmade collage.

Somehow she feels like family ..

Collage made for the last theme 'free' on kollagekit.blogspot.com/

Heirlooms,

lost,

in another

time and place.

Destined,

to take up,

someone

else's space.

Understanding,

sentiment and family

lines have,

with these items,

been traced.

Emotions,

flowing from

everyone's face.

A death,

often comes with,

the throwing away

of a family's grace.

Created by photographing Grandma's Heirloom jewelry and Dad's hunting string, on a red pillow, mirrored for the view and given a slight detail filter.

In the spring the Iris

sprouts and grows.

The flowers have started

to peek out as nature sows.

The long green leaves

coming up in rows.

When the colorful flowers

will bloom, no one knows.

For now in this art work,

my spring longing shows.

Photograph of Iris leaves,

mirrored and inverted.

Saturated for extra color.

When I am driving along at night

and the darkness shows no signs of light.

The road seems long and out of sight

but then the Angel comes with a guiding light.

Leading me through the long dark night.

Keeping me safe from the driver's plight.

Giving alertness to wary eyes and sight.

This Angel in the dark guides me home at night.

Heart to heart although we

may sometimes be apart.

Be it here or be it there,

our love is shared

everywhere.

Molten mixed,

combining together

as one.

Red hot,

seared into the soul.

is our connection hun.

This is mirrored only view of the bottle with water and flashlights I used to create the More than we can see art piece.

Here is the poetic description for the picture.

Lost in the frame

are the pieces

of the mind,

far more than

what you see.

First glance brings

the sudden face,

that smiles

back with glee.

Second glance sees,

the Jesus figure

with arms outstretched

for you and me.

Then comes

two ferry men,

floating on

rushing water.

seeking those

who will pay

their fee..

Last but not least

the dragons face

looking down

at the baby dragon

smiling back at me.

Fire

hot,

burning

against the

grain.

Fire

hot,

sizzling

in the

brain.

Fire

hot,

most

cant take

the

pain.

Fire

hot,

Thank God

for the

rain.

In the flower beds at night,

as the little buds are

tucked in tight.

A monster grows out of sight.

when you sleep without a light.

If you knew what grew

beneath you,

In the darkest hours of night.

you would take flight.

Lily Mimic plays with your plight.

Scratching at the depths of fright.

Once its in your mind it holds you tight.

Caught within the roots with little fight.

Lily Mimic controls your Night.

In your mind out of sight.

In the grander

web of design

I find myself lost

to the pattern

The hearts,

the cross,

the Star sign

As unique as the

rings of Saturn

This green eye sees

deep in the divine.

Way in deep where the

soul dose long and yearn.

Plant life firmly

rooted in a pot.

Plant life looks a little

dull but its not.

Look into the plant and one

will see what a life a plant

has got.

It is a Jungle gym and a

resting spot.

Bugs and birds all around

looking for shade

when its hot.

It breaths and lives as

you and I,

in a well rounded

story plot.

For with out it,

our lives would

be for not.
