Leaves of fall stare at us all.
Drifting to the ground.
Blemished and brown in their
last look at the world.
What they have seen all summer long,
is now but a dream.
That look on the faces of the
leaves as they fall.
Is in us all.
A man lost in time.

Ice, cold and blue.
Melting in the heat.
Dripping away as we
waste time and resources.
Creating a darkness
in the mind as the water
drips slowly away.
Longing for water,
in regions unknown
while art is created
from frozen drips in
another time and place
.
The sunken eyes speak
to the viewer of the waters
importance but dose nothing
to stop the last drip from
the melt as the heat builds
and the drought takes hold.
Captured in time the visual
of the connection humans
have with water and its
lacking abundance. .
Created by photographing a 6x6 block of ice in the sink with water dripping into it while it is reflecting blue from the tub in the sink.

It's not hard to see whom I was inspired by.
My year really started off slowly due to the flu, so I haven't been on the computer much lately ...
I hope you all had a good start this year.
Driving at night among
all the dancing lights.
With the music on the radio
and its colorful lights adding
to the glow.
Humming to the songs
watching the night lights.
Making mesmerizing streaks
in the glass of my window.
........................
Radio lights in the car at night, shot with night filter no flash magnified 4 times and an extra spin/shake of the hand as I clicked the camera button.
Mirrored/flipped only
No jacket required (thank you Ron!)
