Now to get use to the new layout. It is similar to the ErgoDox I've been using for the last 2 years. Just more common functions on the thumb keys and a slightly greater dependence on another layer.
Alumaplop before anodizingI used 3/16" walnut for the bottom. I thought it would be more comfortable when I use the keyboard in my lap.
I built a 60% keyboard with Gatistotle switch the other day using these things:
• ps2avrGB "bfake" PCB
• stickered Gatistotle (Aristotle stem in Gateron yellow housing with 65g springs)
• aluminium plate
• clipped, lubed, and band-aid modded Cherry stabilizers
• TriC 60% case
• enjoypbt keycaps
It has a satisfying tactile feedback but the double click sound can be really loud really loud
