Note the heavy, wide-footed nickel-silver brace between the leadpipe and bell tubing. You can also get a good look at the third valve finger ring made of a brass ribbon.

1934 Ford Truck built ground up by Ed Riley of Crosby,Tx. This truck has 350 hp Chevy LS1 Motor and weighs 2500. The truck was built to drive on the street, go to the Car Shows, and just have fun.

This horn was made in about 1949 and was probably introduced a few years earlier.

 

This was probably the standard Custom Built model Buescher offered at the time; I've seen several of them. However, it may be a variation on the standard with a different bore size or other components.

 

However it's clearly designed around what would be Buescher's common post-war theme, in that it's wrapped in conventional trumpet dimensions rather than the long tightly-wrapped configurations the earlier Aristocrat and Custom Built horns were built in.

 

Compare this horn to the picture sets of the 1944 Aristocrat and then refer to the sets of the pre-war Models 234, 235 and 220 horns; you'll see that the newer horns are designed in simpler, sparer more modern style.
