Nick Hornby wrote High Fidelity, on which the John Cusack/Jack Black movie was based (transforming a used-record shop in London to one in Chicago, etc.). Liked the movie, didn't read the book. When I saw his A Long Way Down -- in pristine condition -- at my library's book sale, I thought I'd give him a try.
Was I ever surprised and disappointed when I thought that Netflix had sent me "An Inconvenient Truth", but instead sent "Must Love Dogs." Don't get me wrong, I like John Cusack movies, but this was not what I wanted.
I've been trying to decide if I made the right move re-joining Netflix and this doesn't help their case any.

I made a last minute trip to the Jimboomba Coles Supermarket for a few items and as I was heading west in Cusack Lane to Johanna Street on my way home - I spotted the most magnificent sun going down. I had my video camera in the car with me so I went straight ahead looking for a spot to try for a few photos. I turned into Henderson Road and pulled over across the road from the Southern Redbacks AFL grounds but by the time I did all this, and got my camera out, the sun had nearly disappeared :-(
Anyway I managed to take these photos with the hopes of returning the next day.
I know - lousy shots but better than nothing and maybe I will get time to learn how to use the video camera - one day!!!
