I thought, 'Curve' and then the Great Curve came to mind. If you have a few minutes, check this out.... I challenge you to sit still.

An unused photo I took for the MacroMondays theme “curves”.

Detail of the facade of the First Nations University of Canada building on the University of Regina campus in Regina, Saskatchewan. Designed by Canadian architect Douglas Cardinal; completed in 2003.

Cardinal also designed the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Quebec and the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C.

The curves of the Yellowstone River around Calcite Springs at the base of Bumpus Butte along with the complimenting curls and curves of this ponderosa pine tree root along the cliff caught my eye.

Enjoy this last weekend of April!

I took this in the same garden as the image I posted yesterday.

This is a pool in the garden with a fountain in the middle. I wanted to show the curves around the outside of the pool that appealed to me so much, but didn't want any detail. So I put on my Oreston 50mm at f1.8 and got the very shallow DoF I wanted, and embraced the blur of the curves.
