Chicken scratch incomprehensibleness.

Mark from A Cursive Memory, he's pretty amazing :] I had a chance to talk to him between sets and he was super nice and is gangsta lol.

The handwriting on the back of the photo of my paternal great-grandmother...not sure who it belonged to. My grandmother's name was Genevra, but everyone called her Jerry....a shame, if you ask me, Genevra is such a beautiful name! (And, Jennifer is derived from that name...though I'm not sure if my father had that in mind when he chose it for me).

Jerry's Mother. I think Uncle Ray had a song for her with this picture on it. SHe was a beauty. So send it to her.

"Uncle Ray" was my great grandfather (her husband) so that gives me a clue as to how this person was related. "Uncle" Ray was also known as Raymond Bond...he was the professor in Man from Planet X, among other films...this is the only one that I've seen ( or been able to find).

Okay. I realize what I've been calling Copperplate is not truly Copperplate. It's more like Copperplatesque cursive. The real thing involves the nib tip being pointed towards the right during writing. I've been cheating. But my right hand can't handle that angle. I'm finding it easier to become ambidextrous. Although learning the basic strokes with my right hand gives me a head-start with the harder task of using my left.

The cursive letter "A a" is hand embroidered and rests on machine stitched notebook paper-inspired lines. All this cuteness is done on a beautiful natural cotton and the other side is fabric I designed and had printed by Spoonflower on a wonderful linen/cotton blend. The lining is red polka dot cotton and the zipper is black. This pouch also features a brown ribbon handle.

These 3 bold fabrics work great together!

This zipper pouch is my own pattern, wider at the base makes it roomier inside. It measures 6" wide and 5" high.

Wyvern. Based on the classic, clean lines of a 1970's daisywheel printer, Wyvern is a dignified sans serif font with elevated x-height and short descenders making it ideal for tight spaces. Wyvern is proportionally spaced and compact with clean ends that impart an open and youthful look, well-suited to vertical stacking. One of Wyvernís strengths are the italics which are more than just oblique versions of the regular font. Created with angled stems and adjusted stem widths to maintain that lively and natural look without resorting to cursive forms.
