I found these random stickers posted on sign post in the middle of Osaka.
It's rare to see cursive in Japan because many people can't read it, so I
was initially taken aback. I don't know the meaning in what is written, but
the cursive was so pretty I had to take a picture. It is interesting to
think how English is often used for aesthetic purposes in Japan, in the
same way that Kanji is often used here in America.

I found another Pilot Varsity fountain pen. Actually, I found several more, sealed in a plastic sandwich bag, so I'm hoping most of them still work.
Today's penmanship (penpersonship?) practice phrase comes courtesy of Flickr member Mister Sable who in turn gleaned this version of an "every letter in the alphabet" sentence from somewhere in the depths of teh Interwebz:
