The curious growth patter of some desert plant life in the arid environment of Kodachrome Basin State Park, Utah. The lumpy surrounding soil is quite crips and is called "crypto-biotic" soil. The gogodragon trail was launched on 21st June in Norwich. 84 large model dragons placed around Norwich, all in aid of the charity "Break".

Did I mention that I forgot to put a CF card in my camera when I went to D.C.? No? I did. Still, it could have been worse. I could have missed my plane as a result of my wallet falling out of my bag onto the car seat without my noticing (I drove to the subway to park and take the train to the airport, and left my wallet there in the dark. Fortunately I had enough time to come back for it).
Anyway, all that to explain that Rachel very kindly lent me her CF card for the weekend, but due to limited space on that card there will be very few -- maybe only a dozen -- pictures from D.C. So savor them, as strange as some of them (naming no names) might be.
