Originally a memorial for the First World War. Now it is for all wars.
Wires on an old fence covered in tiny ice crystals from days of sub zero temperatures and heavy frosts.
Old wooden cross on a background of an old brick wall. I found these interesting textures on the territory of the Epiphany Monastery. The city of Uglich.
Such commemorative crosses are usually placed on the grave. But after about a year they exchange for granite monuments.

It's a phrase. When I was in 2002, survived the accident chain in Baden near Vienna, I said "Thank God". When I returned in 2004 at the hospital with the message that not have cancer of the larynx, I said "Thank God". When there was a crash and disappeared into the front part of my Mitsubishi in 2007, I said "Thank God". I was alive! It's "Thank God" phrase?
So far at the Melbourne General Cemetery you'd be forgiven for thinking the Jewish and Italian communities have a mortgage on this part of Melbourne. But this is a diverse burial ground, and eventually we come across older symbols of the Irish, Scots, Welsh and English settlers.
Criss-cross is the alluvial and fallen driftwood
in the water, and creates a beautiful nature.

CSX C31709 departs Parkersburg on the Ohio River Subdivision, bound for Huntington and points south. This train loaded at one of the mines near Grafton and is bound for the Cross Generating Station. The black truss bridge in the background once carried the St. Louis mainline of the B&O and is now operated by the Belpre Industrial Parkersburg.
