Another of my oldest purchases--the filmy blue print dress from Burlington Coat Factory. With the corset underneath, I think it looks better than I ever has. I tried to play a little with some props this time...a handbag and an umbrella.
Accessories are blue hair bow, silver jewelry, light hose and blue peep-toe pumps.
Over the weekend, I was cleaning out some drawers and found five slides from my pre-marriage dressing days! I found a place that would make prints from them and then scanned the prints.
These two were taken at my second apartment; the blue dress, near as I can recall, was bought on a shopping trip with Bobbi. Gee, I wish I still had that figure! I may be wearing a waist cincher, but I'm not sure.
The third outfit yesterday was actually the oldest outfit I own, the very first top and skirt I bought back in 2007. It's amazing how good it looks with the corset and the wide belt. Accessories are red hair bow, black/white jewelry, black belt, and red t-strap pumps.
Another new item...an olive green straight skirt bought at the thrift store last week. It's wool, so there's a good chance you won't see it again until the fall. The blouse is the white one from Kmart that originally came with its own set of necklaces. Unfortunately, those necklaces have not held up well to wear and tear and all came apart this morning! The blouse is still a nice one, though.
Accessories are white hair bow, gold jewelry, chain belt, and black patent pumps. It's devastatingly hot here, so I went bare-legged again.
