Nile Crocodile (Crocodylus niloticus) basking in the sun after a meal. From the looks of it, this croc fed on some type of bird. The Nile Crocodile is one of the largest apex predators in Africa, and only the Saltwater Crocodile is larger among crocodilians. An adult averages 64-68 teeth in that long, narrow mouth.

Spring MUST be in the air... I feel like having FUN!!!

This is a photo I took through the window of a shop where they sold nothing but Crocs...

Not my best shot, but a FAVOURITE, it does still make me smile, with all the colours and I'm very happy with the title, lol

For the non-English speaking people, it means 'what an absolute mess', 'what a load of bs'...

Wishing you all the best and thank you, M, (*_*)

The black and white cat is one of the suitors of this black kitten. There is also a red and a white spotted with grey. I found myself one day in a cafe and after making sure that, while I was drinking my coffee, I wasn't in the way of their business, they didn't care about me anymore.

It was really difficult for this poor black kitten, she was jumping from one chair to another and not leave her a minute.

She approached my chair, thinking that the others wouldn't do it, but instead I found them all around me.

I didn't really understand if she was playing to escape or if she was happy with the suitors, because she didn't seem angry, she just moved when they were too close to her. I lost my feline mind to understand : ))

Anyway, I haven't seen them since.

Not everyone likes cats, especially when they are in love....

I found the perfect song, in my opinion, for this story.

It's taken from Verdi's Traviata and is called "Un Di felice" (A Happy Day). : ))

But the funniest thing is that you'll see David Byrne sing it, yes, he's it, I'm just as surprised as you are.

He, very brave, I appreciate the confidence of those who do things now for fun and entertainment and no longer to assert themselves ....

They can apparently launch themselves to two-thirds of their body length at a speed of 80 kilometres per hour. Then they do the 'death roll' to bring you down into the water with them.

"You" are probably regarded as potential prey.

"You" probably don't want to be near the waters edge in croc infested waters...

A Philippine crocodile at the Pittsburgh Zoo.

Whilst taking some bluebell shots in the local woods, I had a double take at this scene! This log triggered my inbuilt "fight or flight" alert system for a nano second. It certainly looked like some reptilian crocodile emerging from the depths.

The more I looked at it the more the logs form and texture seemed to resemble a crocodile. So for a bit of humourous interest I thought I would post it. There has been absolutely no manipulation of the image, this was exactly how this old tree appeared. So if " you go down to the woods today...." as they say!

On the Adelaide river in Darwin there are something like 10000 crocodiles. Swimming is not recommended. Also, no petting would be a good idea.

Fiona is easily my new favorite animal companion figure. She is amazing.
