Something about this, that I like, not sure what. Maybe its the contrast of rough textures against the smooth water and sky.

I seem to be drawn to the LE minimal images of late.

Music choice just goes with the title and hopefully bring a little enjoyment :)

… These beautiful white teeth belong to my friend the Philippine croc (Crocodylus mindorensis), who likes to keep an eye on things in his corner of the Reptiles Pavilion without attracting unwanted attention.

Crocodile Rock sits on a sandstone bench with a view to the east of Labyrinth Canyon Wilderness, Canyonlands National Park, Arches National Park, and the La Sal Mountains.

This rock seemed anomalous, for there were no similar formations nearby.

Northern Australia, Adelaide River. The crocodile is tempted by our tour boat captain with a piece of meat dangled from a long fishing pole above the water. The crocs, and there are more than one of them, are used to leaping out of the water for the meat. They all get fed eventually, and make for great photos!

When we arrived at our lodge on the banks of the Awash River and Falls in Ethiopia there were many crocodiles like this one basking on islands and at the river edge. Heavy overnight rain turned the water brown by next morning and all the crocodiles were submerged.

The Nile crocodile (Crocodylus niloticus) is an African crocodile and the second largest extant reptile in the world, after the saltwater crocodile. The Nile crocodile is quite widespread throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, occurring mostly in the central, eastern, and southern regions of the continent and lives in different types of aquatic environments such as lakes, rivers and marshlands.

Nile crocodiles have a dark bronze colouration above, with black spots on the back and a dirty purple on the belly. The flanks, which are yellowish-green in colour, have dark patches arranged in oblique stripes.

Another shot of this rock, a bit later than the previous one, from another angle, with the "Titan lighthouse" on the "ÃŽle du Levant" on the left of the picture.

This pic was inspired by a conversation I had with Noah a few days ago. He was crying over something (can't even remember what it was now) and I told him that his tears were just crocodile tears. He naturally wanted to know what I meant by this. When I told him that it meant that his tears weren't real, they were just fake, it made him howl even louder. This made me laugh which made him cry more which made me laugh and so on and so on.
