Receiving no formal training in fashion design Sally Omeme learned to knit in the early 2000’s. It wasn’t until She attended the John Casablancas Institute in August 2011, her dream of becoming a knitwear designer was encouraged by her instructors. She knit her first collection for the John Casablancas Institute fashion show Empyrean on May 24, 2012,
As a newly emerging knitwear designer, Sally Omeme has bright hopes for the future. Never afraid to experiment using different fabrics. The entire collection for Eco Fashion Week has been created using second hand materials.
When not knitting, she continues to pursue her passion projects of writing, creating, working on photo shoots, and dreaming up other passion projects.

Crochet pumpkin: it comes with a free crochet pattern too! happyinred.blogspot.nl/2011/09/patroon-gehaakte-pompoen.html
I finished sewing my green/blue amigurumi bunny last night, but I probably won’t be able to add accessories and blush till later this week because I’m swamped with essays & tests right now. :( LOL I’m now paying dearly for procrastinating all weekend. Why does crocheting have to be so fun?!

Front view. Before opening the armholes, I wondered about doing one centered larger steek as a head opening for a poncho-type thing instead.
This lightweight Tunisian crochet net pattern is designed to collapse readily so that it can convert into a ring scarf, cowl, shoulder warmer, and even a head wrap. It's a simple shape that's fast to crochet and can do so much!
Another great thing about it is that it uses up very little yarn. Even the largest size (Plus size 5X) requires no more than 2 skeins of yarn.
The Smokestack Vest pattern is written for eight sizes, from Small to Plus size 5X, and is downloadable from the Designingvashti shop and Ravelry.
After trying Teresa's 10minute preemie hat and having problems and ripping it twice, I modified it to get it to work for me, this is my modified version of Teresa's 10 minute preemie hat. My version (should) fits a large preemie.
My version takes me about 30 minutes, which is fast for me to make a hat.
Materials; 2 strands of baby yarn held together(such as Softee Baby or Baby Soft), G hook. (using just 1 strand will make a slightly smaller preemie size)
Ch 3
Rnd 1: 12 dc in 3rd chain from the hook, join with a sl st to beginning ch 3.
Rnd 2: Ch 2, dc in same stitch as ch 2, 2 dc in each stitch around, join with sl st to beginning ch 2.
Rnd 3: Ch 2, dc in same stitch as ch 2, *1 dc in next stitch, 2 dc in next stitch*, repeat around, join with sl st to beginning ch 2.
Rnd 4-7: Ch 2, dc in each dc around, join with sl st to beginning ch 2.
Rnd 8: Ch 1, sc in each dc around, join with sl st to beginning ch 1, fasten off. Weave in ends.

This milk cow Moo was from a CAL last year: Fun Farm CAL: Moo's In Boots
Started several times but didn’t like it.
So I made a Belted Cow. I love those cows. You see a lot of them in the part of the Netherlands where we are living.
