If you have an old sandblasted sign you need replaced, this is the new look. Cut from solid PVC, it is impervious to weather and still retains the look of a thick block of wood.

Being married to a programmer is like being married to a mechanic. All these parts pile up and you have to put them somewhere. This is his workroom too, so he gets the bottom two file drawers.
The first thing I did after moving the desk and filing cabinet back into position was to put up my bulletin board with its silly ferret calendar. It was a present from my family at Christmas and makes me smile. :)
The other semi-permanent item on the bulletin board is a Chinese takeout menu that says "We Delivery." I love Engrish.

I recently had the very large project of creating 23 black and white drawings for a book for MNR all about tree conservation and animal protection during tree cutting. It was an interesting and challenging project, here is some of the main drawings spread out on my worktable. 2008.
I wanted the room to be open and inviting, so I kept the furniture-not-against-the-walls to a minimum. The only things out on the floor are this wonderful fuzzy cream-colored chair and the little green table, which holds my photo props, tripod and light box (not shown).
