I was surprised to find that this bookcase had more than enough space for the two bookcases' worth of books lying around on the landing and on the bathroom floor. A little bit of room to grow, too.

On my creative space table right now.

Collected these past weeks during our hikes & nature walks.

There's the "drop" stone underneath.

I love using (well, re-using) egg cartons everywhere in the house. They help me gathering little things at a same place.

Seems like everything we do ends up turning tinto an art project. This dinner party was no exception. We hung some LED lights on our canopy and Jake Schlumberger, our shop guy, grabbed my Canon G12 and started shooting. This is what he came up with.

Dick King builds these fantastic mini-hot rods. We make his parts from his designs so that every piece is perfect.

Looks so nice in the nook and so cleverly disguised as an accent piece.

You have to look close, but notice the "F" (for FOSS) that's tiled in the center of these squares. There are faint images of tile projects also embedded in the background.

... not buying any new fabric

... or even better, not buying any fabric at all

which means :

... using all fabrics I have in my stash

... repurposing fabrics from clothes & other pieces

... using vintage or thrifted fabrics or materials

this is going to prove to be tough for me, but also a challenge with myself & testing my own motivation

This is another shot of the vanity area with the mirror and cute little lamps.

This week's assignment to clear up creative space allowed me to really see these little reminders of friends and family that were hidden behind clutter. Even though I have a tiny little corner instead of a studio space, it can still be inspiring.

This is a weird "tami" story. I use to work for a closet company and would go to this wood shop where they made fancy wood things. This is a "mold" to bend wood. They would use them then put them into what I called "The grave yard" never to be seen again. Well, that is until I discovered them. This is being prepped (sanded etc) I used it for the front of the platform bed-so it has a rounded front.
