This piece will be exhibited at Art Basel in Miami Beach. After its run there, it travels to New York Museum of Arts and Design where it will go to auction. Proceeds go entirely to emerging artist programs

Custom made, hand polished, 6061 aluminum badge for Mike Lavalle at Killer Paint in Snohomish Washington. Mike is one of my good friends, and when he asked us to make this badge for his custom Merc, we were honored. Mike is making some additional details that will go with this piece. Photos will be posted as we are allowed to release them.

These projects use either single color or multi color programmable lighting to create the appropriate effect for the project. In some cases, the lighting is ambient room lighting.
Feeling all professional. I got my desk out and set it up so I can just leave my art out to work on. I love it!
I used the pallet knife to put a heavy texture around the outer border of the piece. The white color is the Gel Medium when it is freshly applied. It dries to a crystal clear finish so that all that is left is just the high and low spots and whatever texture is left behind from your application tool (brush, knife, etc.)

On the walls outside Affleck's Palace, a famous collective of funky shops in the Northern Quarter, there is a series of ceramic wall murals, including this one. Sadly in 2009, someone from Affleck's Palace decided that these murals did not appeal to young people and covered them up with, wait for it, advertising.
