This is a tabletop charging station we designed and built for Minotaur Mazes in Seattle. It is designed to display handheld GPS units and charges them when not in use. The curved lid closes and locks to keep the GPS units secure.
Various projects we machined at Reid Signs in Seattle. Acrylic, Plexiglass, Lexan, Polycarbonate, Polystyrene. We can cut, machine, and build anything out of any of these cool materials right here in our facility. We don't need engineered drawings either...just bring us your napkin sketch and you'll have your part in a few days no prob!
Some progress shots of a 36"x15' sign for Nintendo of America. This sign is made from aluminum and features halo lighting around all graphic components. Lighting is all LED.
Reid Signs can navigate codes, restrictions, and other administrative hurdles to get your business on the skyline of Seattle. Whether it's on the side of one of the many office towers Downtown, or a storefront sign, Reid Signs can make it happen with great design and an ace installation team who can literally engineer and install "The Impossible".
We love to do historical restorations. We can bring old signs back from the dead with new glass, new paint, and electrical components that meet current code.
Or we can do a mix of restorative techniques where we get the sign lit again, but retain the original patina. Whatever the job may be, you can count on expert craftsmanship, beautiful paint finishes, concealed fasteners and power feeds, and a tight seamless fit.
Develop your original art and print it out onto textured artist canvas. Stretch your canvas over your frame using a museum-wrap stretching technique. In this case, I constructed my frame out of 2" VG Fir with locking corners, corner gussets, tensioned framing staples, and hanging wire. Get your Gel Medium, brushes, and pallet knife ready.

This is a 3 layer display for a custom vehicle. In this shot, we're carefully assembling the layers of cut acrylic. We created controllable lighting that contains the colors and motion effects exactly to the layers that require them. We can have any layer be any color, and even assign fades, chases, strobes, and other effects to the layers. The 3 layers of acrylic, spacers, trim, and face bezels were all machined in house. This was a piece for SEMA in Las Vegas.

Old School - New Rules
Pretty much sums it up at our shop. This was a piece of new lumber that we beat up, hit with a chain, dragged around the parking lot behind the truck, and abused it every way we could think of. Then we washed it with latex and cut the design into it and followed it up with some faded hand lettering and outlines.

The left side of the room we built in this "vanity" with the mirror above it. the vanity was made from an old door . We cut it to fit the space ,from wall to wall. Under the vanity we added little organizational drawers and labeled them. and on the right side we added a hang bar to hang clothing. And Suzanne custom made the skirt for the front to neatly hide the clutter underneath.

Progress shots of Greg Reid and Dane Storrusten as we were building this unique piece of multi-media art for Ruinart, the renowned French champagne house in the Champagne region of Reims. This piece will be exhibited at Art Basel in Miami Beach. After its run there, it travels to New York Museum of Arts and Design where it will go to auction. Proceeds go entirely to emerging artist programs.

Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, USA, Danette Landry lived in California for a long time before moving to Paris in 1997 to pursue her studies in cultural anthropology.
Landry calls for a constant reconstruction and materialization of his inner life, of his identity. This force is represented by its bronze totems. Landry identifies each totem with a gender. Female totems illustrate strength and strength through a complex stack of very small geometric plates. Male totems represent a physical and emotional weight similar to geological features, with eroded smooth lines and rocky features. Individually, each totem bears a variety of wounds similar to those found in humanity. In total, his patinated bronze sculptures give off a driving force to survive. With these works, Landry expresses his individual will to resist and rebuild the trials and difficulties of life in new forms and creations.

These projects use either single color or multi color programmable lighting to create the appropriate effect for the project. In some cases, the lighting is ambient room lighting.
Salesmen's sample of a Devon sports car. We got it as a plain red shell. All of the graphics were custom designed for this project as a one-off piece.
