This was my first 'studio' space in our first apartment. I was just beginning to learn to create jewelry, and I set aside this little space on a coffee table in the 400 sq. ft. apartment. At the time, I could carry all my jewelry supplies in a couple of segmented plastic craft boxes.

There are lots of old tobacco tins on the benches

Very short lengths (20 cm, 7.8"). But how lovely are they ?!! (June 07th 2009)

I'd spent years dreaming about having a studio, but a real, physical space sort of turned all my plans upside down. I ended up re-doing most of them. This room serves not only as storage for my art supplies, but as storage for the rest of the apartment too. I had to figure out how to store things while making what I need consistently available. Also, I needed to figure out how to display a few collections (like my unglazed porcelain there on the windowsill) without making the room completely crowded.

Spun aluminum finish just bounces off of that red...Bam!

Epic creative space made just for me!

Often People like to buy my art cards and frame them. Here's one of my cards that I put into a frame for a customer in 2007.
