Tatum Elementary School's Thriving Minds After-School Program celebrated national Lights On Afterschool day with a special event in honor of Hispanic Cultural Heritage Month. Students made & decorated paper vests, constructed Rabbit Hats for the Aztec Rabbit & the Moon dance, told an Aztec story and finished up with a Hispanic Cultural Fashion Show!

Young Audiences teaching artists and Baltimore City teachers co- created arts-based math and science lessons for students each morning, and worked with students on arts enrichment projects each afternoon.

YA theatre ensemble, Synetic Theater, worked with Graceland Park/O'Donnell Heights sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-graders during a residency in May 2014. Each class worked with Synetic actors to bring what they were leaning in Social Studies to life through pantomime.
