a quiet moment with jean remy von matt at the keys – a portrait of a man who’s achieved legendary success in advertising, but who’s always had the heart and mind of an artist. jean remy changed the world of commercials with work that resonates across generations. here, he’s in his element, lost in the music, capturing that spark that’s driven him not only in business but in his creative pursuits. few people bridge the gap between commerce and true art the way he does.

We had a fun evening at the Atmo Supercomputer Party in Berkeley, California. Atmo just finished their first product, to be delivered to Uganda. It has groundbreaking software to predict weather using a trained AI model, a first in this industry. That means substantial cost reduction while keeping the accuracy of weather forecast.

The company hired Frank Stephenson to design the exterior of the supercomputer. He also designed most McLaren sport cars, some Ferraris, Maserati, Mini Cooper, BMW X5, and the Fiat 500. Frank flew in from London to attended the party. He was intrigued by my vintage Canon "Dream Lens", so I offered to take a portrait of him. We walked outside so that we get the nice blur of leaves in the back.

I processed a photographic and a balanced HDR photos from a JPG exposure, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

In 2022, we enjoyed a memorable evening at an Atmo Supercomputer celebration in Berkeley, California. The company had completed their inaugural product, destined for Uganda. Their innovative technology uses an AI model to forecast weather, a pioneering approach in the industry. This advancement significantly reduces costs while maintaining the reliability and precision of weather predictions.

I was happy to listen the wonderful classical music concert TERREMOTO, which was held at the Tyniec Abbey in Krakow. There were about 15 musicians in the orchestra. Depending on the composition, the set of musicians on stage sometimes changed. There were also four singers with beautiful operatic voices! The harpsichord set the general tone and atmosphere of the concert. I was personally impressed by the drums! They had a very deep and voluminous sound! And there were many trumpets and different flutes that sounded very different and very incredible!

I honestly love Radovan. He is one of my dearest friends, always wise, inspiring, asking the right questions and not afraid to be himself - no matter what. He is also a fantastic creative director and copywriter!

This is what you get when you ask your four year old what *she* would like to do for her photos. She thought this plant would make an excellent prop and promptly placed it on her head. She is constantly trying to play creative director whenever I have the camera out - she cracks me up. :) I have *tons* of goofy photos of her ... maybe I should make this "Goofy Miss A" week and post them all.

Processed with Paint the Moon actions and texture.

I've gotten behind here again - yesterday was a day filled with dentist appointments, gymnastics, homeschooling, meltdowns and a way too late bed time. :) Will try to catch up today!

If you wanna - "Ask Me Anything!" LOL!

ETA: Okay, it's official ... this week is the First Miss A's Goofiness and Creative Directorial Debut. :)

Creative Director, colleague and friend. Finally got around to taking Davids portrait in typical single light simplicity using and SB900 above to camera left. All seeing on manual, could have selected one of many shots as a final pick due to Davids composure.
