The original was taken last year at our local Westcliffe, CO Cowboy Church's Gymkhana event. I was able to take that stock image from last year and use for this years advertisement. I love the way it turned out!

On July 23, 2025, 29 early-stage businesses from a variety of sectors in Hama came together to participate in the “Launch Up” Bootcamp, a key activity under the Virtual Accelerate Prosperity (VAP) program. The bootcamp was organized by the Sanad Youth Foundation, in collaboration with the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF), and aimed to provide comprehensive incubation support to emerging enterprises. The primary goal of the bootcamp was to assist startups in refining their business models, shifting their mindset from traditional business approaches to startup-driven growth strategies, and accelerating their path toward profitability.This activity was designed to foster the growth of early-stage businesses and innovative new ideas across different sectors, offering participants valuable training, essential tools, mentorship, and resources to strengthen their ventures. By equipping the entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the competitive startup ecosystem, the bootcamp aimed to significantly reduce the time required for these businesses to achieve profitability.The Launch UP Bootcamp was part of the broader Virtual Accelerate Prosperity (VAP) initiative, which is focused on supporting both early-stage businesses and more advanced enterprises. Through targeted incubation and acceleration programs, VAP seeks to refine business models and drive business growth, empowering startups and creative companies to increase their chances of success.This bootcamp, and the broader VAP project, is funded by the Aga Khan Foundation and implemented by the Sanad Youth Foundation. It reflects their commitment to empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs and promoting sustainable economic growth in the region.
As part of the Virtual Accelerate Prosperity (VAP) project, the "Launch Up" incubation program officially commenced with a dynamic launching event held on July 14th, 2025, in Homs, targeting 170 potential enterprises. This one-day event marked the beginning of a comprehensive support initiative designed to empower aspiring entrepreneurs, startups, and innovators in the region. The event introduced participants to the core components of the incubation program, including its objectives, mentorship opportunities, training tracks, and the tools and resources available to support their entrepreneurial journey. The Launch Up program is a key component of the broader VAP initiative, which focuses on providing early-stage startups and creative businesses with the training, mentorship, and resources necessary to develop and refine their business models, increase their potential for success, and ensure sustainable growth. The launch event also functioned as a vital networking platform, fostering collaboration and connection between local startups, experts, and stakeholders within Homs’ entrepreneurial ecosystem.This activity is implemented by the Sanad Youth Foundation, in partnership with and funded by the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF), under the umbrella of the Accelerate Prosperity (VAP) initiative, which aims to support both incubation and acceleration programs for emerging and advancing enterprises.
