The ‘Route Contemporaine’ highlights artistic creation in the heart of the historic Loire region, in the Chinon area. The Abbaye Royale de Fontevraud, the Château du Rivau and the Château d'Oiron share the same roots in the past as well as the desire to highlight the art of our time and contribute to the development of artistic creation.
CHÂTEAU D'OIRON
Attached for almost two centuries to the Gouffier family, it was one of its most famous representatives, Claude, Grand Ecuyer to François I and Henri II, who had the painted gallery created, an exceptional example of the style of the Fontainebleau School (16th century).
After a period of neglect, the château came into state ownership. The exhibition features a veritable cabinet of curiosities, designed for the site by 70 artists in the spirit of the sensitive and astonishing collections of 16th-century scholars.
Euphorbia Flower belongs to the cactus family. It has thorns on its stem and requires little water.
It has various flower colors from red to pink, yellow, yellow green, dotted, orange. No violet color of Euphorbia. When sellers claim they have violet color, beware as it is only spray painted with violet paint to lure you of buying.
I care many varieties in our front yard, since this is the fashion last 2003.
It gives you the nicest flower during summer hot season.

Nature's Seamstress (Orthotomus sutorius) - the common Tailor bird. A resident in our home garden, in our avocado tree the large leaf foliage lending a protective cover. We’ve watched them take care of their little one and make sure that it is never disturbed. After the birds vacate their nest I had a look at how amazingly it had sewn the leaves together. It places the soft down of cotton, straw and feathers so carefully to ensure the comfort and protection of her little one – yet another wonder of God’s handiwork.
