He's big, he's friendly, and he's waiting to be put back together. I introduce my latest creation, a screen-accurate LEGO bust rendition of The Iron Giant.
And he's part of something bigger...
Lots of work went into making this model as accurate as possible to the reference material, and making it easy to build with thought-out instructions.

Second in a series to explore what can be done with the lowly manhole cover as subject. The first experiment yielded a picture frame ("Flashback," next image in photostream). In this case, only the center motif of the iron cover was used as the basis for a graphic. Best viewed large (?)
