Creation Nation event put on at my localish lego store this past weekend (Sept. 28-30). In the event, people can build their own contribution towards the map of the US.
I helped out on Sunday after being asked to do so by the assistant manager,
I worked from 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM and then helped clean up from 6:00 to 10:15 PM ( there was still a lot left when we left).
While working, I did every thing from placing builds, handing out baseplates, refilling brick bins, taking apart the "unworthy" builds, to other stuff.
After 6:00 came the kidzilla attack! XD
Clean up was very long. We had to separate all the bricks (even plate-built ones). It took 4+ hours to clean it all up. All of us, employees, BayLUG, and volunteers, hated the plate-built bricks, that an the Mega Blocks we found within the Lego.
There were a few BayLUG members there too.
I think there might be a few pics of me in here, but they don't show all of me, just parts. Sorry for any blurry pics, my mom took these :P

*Zeus saved Paeon from the wrath of Asclepius by turning him into the peony flower. The word peony, then, comes from Greek mythology.
Client hired me to create supertitles for a live performance of "The Creation". The goal was to provide the audience with the lyrics without distracting from the music. A different design was made for each day of creation.
Day 1 - light
Day 2 - water and sky

Day 7 - God rests (Haydn takes this time to illustrate the love of Adam and Eve)
I have been asked to document and help put together an exhibition of the journey to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show for MKM Creations and PWP Design. So I had a very enjoyable day on Friday photographing them all at work on lots of different jobs!

This is work by my professor, Beauvais Lyons. He uses the authority of print and museum display in funny and challenging ways. I recommend his work and his lectures, if you ever get a chance to see his work or him speak.
