During the early stages of the New Year's party, thought I'd try a Hamm's (funny enough, I always remembered the TV ad's from the 1970's and 1980's featuring some goofy bear...but this was my first time sampling the beer). I originally bought this for Mel's dad, who was planning on coming down that night from Nebraska. Unfortunately, he didn't leave before a blizzard struck, so he was delayed. Out of mere curiosity, I tried some. Picture hopefully illustrates my feeling toward Hamm's. I'll just stick to my Boulevard or Leinie's or Sam Adams.
Cheers to seeing an awesome band with one of my favourite people on the planet!
(Sorry about the quality- I couldn't bring my good camera in for the show!)
Who would have thought I would have found a Keystone in a grocery store.
But I did. Keystone Light. While this is not a beer I would drink unless I was on a deserted island and no other beer was available.
Then I might.
So while I picked up this can and took a photo I did not purchase it.
Life is too short to drink crappy beer.
A co-worker drinks this swill all the time. I asked why and he said cheap.
Says a lot about his taste.
I would take your misguided attempt at humor personally if your entire line of beers wasn't over-hopped-to-mask-the-amateurness swill. #bells #bellsbrewery #bellsbeer #beer #craftbeer #crapbeer #bodypiercing #piercing #bodymod #bodymodification #piercingbymat #scrantonmarcs #marcstattooing
So the next competition for SCBG will be the Cream Ale Style. The only local sample we could find was Genesee Cream Ale.
This is my personal opinion and the reason I took this photo -- CRAP BEER!!! BLECH BLECH BLECH!!!!
Everyone from the Guild seemed to agree that CyberDave's homebrewed Cream Ale was MUCH, MUCH better than the sample for tasting.
