One of my entries for the Create a Villain Contest at The League of Lego Heroes group.

A long time ago, a small child named Sean was travelling with his parents until the private jet they were in crashed into a lone island in the middle of the ocean. Only the boy survived. Raised by lobsters, Sean grew up to be a reckless and savage individual. Also cold and calculating, just like someone raised by lobsters could be.

It is unknown how he managed to escape from that island, or how he managed to develop a knack for robotics, but ever since he stole that shipment of mechanical parts from Spyrius, he has been causing quite a ruckus in the city. His "Crabwalker X-95" might not look menacing, but that thing packs quite a punch. Not only it can walk extremely fast, but it can also shoot acid bubbles that can easily melt any kind of wall. Without the Crabwalker, Sir Crusta Sean is mostly harmless, but his hideous face and his respectable moustache should not be ignored.

Fortunately, his evil plans came to an end recently, when his Crabwalker tripped over some cables at the tuna can factory (again. Many villains have been tripping over cables recently, we should look into this). Our agents found Crusta Sean unconscious on the floor and promptly took him to the Bricklyn Bay Penitentiary.

The Great Western Empire has been fighting to keep control of New Cimmaron for months. Now, the Buggoid Confederacy has landed walkers, which are advancing into the town. Can the Imperial forces hold them off?

This started off as a display stand for the walker, which in its turn started off as a tablescrap when I was sorting my brown headlight bricks. I deliberately tried to offset the dk tan terrain by adding as much color in the minifigs and in the plant life as I could. Hope you enjoy!

When crouched or "crab walking", the figure is approx. 3" high from highest point on head to the feet. When standing, the figure is approx. 5.25" high, still not fully erect as the leg and hip joints limit the full motion (again, this was originally meant to be a static posed figure). Fortunately I was able to add several articulation points to the figure: Ball jointed neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. Vacuum formed PETG dome is removable. The tail is static but is attached using a revoltech joint and can be switched out with a longer tail option.

Paint update on the "crabwalker" Alien as seen in the deleted scenes from the 1979 Sir Ridley Scott film - ALIEN. 1:18 scale.

Meant to post an update earlier this week but unfortunately I had to make some repairs to my "crabwalker" figure due to some loose shoulder joints and air bubbles discovered in one of the upper arms while cleaning them up. It's important to correct this as the two arms hold most of the weight of the figure while in the "crabwalking" position - they need to be strong and stable with tight joint work. The figure can also stand semi-upright, recreating the scene where the alien rises slowly in front of Lambert.

Now primed with about three to four coats of undercoat gray acrylic, it's ready to be painted. More updates to come! #alien #nostromo #painting #crabwalker #deletedscene #customactionfigure

I can actually pose the figure from a "crawl" to a "rising" position which is a plus since I originally conceived the idea of the figure being a static posed piece. An unpainted resin piece, using revoltech joints in the shoulders, elbows, wrists, upper legs, knees and ankles. The second of two semi-static posed figures is complete. This version depicts the creature as it appears in the deleted "crab-walker" scene from the 1979 film as Lambert and Parker make a desperate attempt to escape the Nostromo. This deleted scene however was thought comical by many, not well executed on film and revealed too much of the creature...reducing it to nothing more than a man in a rubber suit...something Ridley Scott was avoiding by using smoke and shadow.

When crouched or "crab walking", the figure is approx. 3" high from highest point on head to the feet.
