My friend asked me to take pictures of the golf course for her she had a project my camera and I had a blast ...would love to see this one again when it's really green.. My "Computer Graphic" (for architects) course in Tirana will finish tomorrow. It has been a nice period and a nice occasiom to visit this town.

Three more from winter walks at Warwick race course. In spite of the sun being so low in the sky, it was probably only about 2.30 in the afternoon.
I must confess to not being a great lover of buses in all over advertising liveries . . . or gaudy liveries in general either. However, as we've seen a couple of photos previously from the old PMT archive showing such, it rounds things off to show this one. I realise that the bus isn't centre stage, but there's so much else going on in the shot like the Reliant Regal 3 wheeler or even the Vauxhall Viva. Of course one of the the stars of the show is PMT's Weymann bodied Atlantean 775 EVT from the 1959 delivery bedecked in advertising for the new 'Heavy Steam Machine Disco. On the side of the bus it was proclaimed to be 'Europe's Hugest Music Forum'! Just incase anyone was unsure as to what a heavy steam machine might have looked like, Dale's traction engine had been brought from Congleton for the purpose of the illustration. The location was Hanley, the venue was part of the ABC 'Cinebowl' development which nowadays is no more. Only the Mitchell Memorial Youth Theatre above and to the rear of the Atlantean still exists in 2022.

It's taken a pandemic and lockdown (now into our third) to make us explore things closer to home, including Warwick race course and St Mary's Lands in the middle of the course. There has been racing here since 1707, though like everything else, it's cancelled at the moment. This is the home straight, probably taken at about three o'clock, with the sun already very low in the sky.

Our last morning of the course in Banff Canada, we each lined up 6.5m from the camera (in a semi circle) for a group panorama shot at Vermillion Lake near the Banff townsite soon after sunrise with Mt Rundle in the background (to the left).

Greedo: "Of course Han shot first. It was in the script. The whole Mos Eisley cantina sequence introduced Han as a shady character that Luke (or the viewer) couldn't be sure was trustworthy. A "scoundrel", like Leia called him in that next movie. Sure, Han evolved into a good guy, but that intro made his character development more interesting."
