Odd couple. This is the second day I've seen this male wood duck with the female mallard. Whenever the male mallard approaches, the wood duck chases him away and is very protective. I think the female is flattered with all the attention

Janice and I met in college. We spent plenty of time together on campus, and we got married in our senior year. Therefore, we never "dated," as our culture traditionally thinks of the process.
