I love my kitchen.
The water dispenser & matching cup, sandwich maker, bonus card gift mini drawers, Hello Kitty shelf with CD holder (used for holding Kool Aid packets), and liquid container underneath. Ontop of the shelf we have the two matching canisters (one has rice, one has macaroni--I eat a lot of carbs), and two cruets (one with olive oil, one with soy sauce), a candle tin set, and a set of Hello Kitty chopstick rests. There's also a clock (the flash reflected so you can't see the time).

Sometimes something just hits your eye. I was taking the last of my cup of coffee out of the microwave when I saw these three clips from bags of carrots symmetrically laid out on the countertop. What could I do, but get my camera?
This is the corner on my countertop, there's a box of Hello Kitty fruit snacks, the Chococat basket with all sorts of Sanrio utensils, then a bonus card gift magazine rack I use to store little packets in, and a mini tea set.

This marks the start of a new set. This particular image will be atypical of the set, but the image is ready to go, I need something to post and here we are.
The 360 project is a residential highrise in the section of Chicago known as River North. 360 is an address, but as my job was to punchlist units: I was actually able to see views in all directions.
What I found particularly interesting was that during the limited time I was there: the weather went from warm and sunny to full blown snowstorm and back. As a Chicagoan, I see that all of the time so I am not quite sure why I find it so interesting.
Hope you enjoy. This image was not edited, only cropped. The 360 set will temporarily replace the skyline series that I inundate you with. When 360 is over though, I will return to those because I like them so much. You will just have to deal with that. :)

My daughter and son-in-law are selling out and moving to Texas from California. I can't blame them one bit, but it's going to be very strange not having them and the grandkids so close.
To get the house ready, I've been doing a bunch of work, fixing stuff up, replacing broken lights, changing out receptacles, etc. I also replaced the kitchen countertops with these butcherblock ones. Cutting them to fit was a bit stressful! And heavy. The one for the sink is 10 feet long.
I put the new sink together, too, but they had a friend install it and the plumbing. My back hurts too much to crawl under there and hook everything up.
My part of that job is done. They will install a new tile backsplach and paint the cabinets before it goes on the market.

Have been at the kitchen business since July...tomorrow the plumber hooks the sink up and I can have some order return. No more utility sink, back breaking, feet aching dish washing station! And then tile time...to be continued.

I don't think this craze will ever catch on Like the regular countertop pics but I'm a rebel. This is the girlsroom at the place where the Buffalo Belles TG meetings are held.I didn't dress up much for this meeting as I knew that I wouldn't be taking any outside pics that day. The wind was gusting to over 60 mph. it rained most of the day and it was actually colder than it was in April, at the meeting. This skirt is actually long, almost to my ankles when I stand up. Gosh, it really rides up when I sit down doesn't it? Lol.
