The Welsh Corgi is a small type of herding dog that originated in Wales. The name corgi is derived from the Welsh words cor and ci, meaning "dwarf" and "dog", respectively. Two separate breeds are recognized: the Pembroke Welsh Corgi and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi.
The Pembroke Welsh Corgi packs a whole lot of dog—about 30 pounds—into a stout frame that’s only 10–12 inches tall. Corgis are one of the most sociable types of small dogs, meaning they form friendships easily with both people and pets. This herding breed also has a busy brain and considerable energy, so make daily walks and enrichment games part of your routine.

I've really come to love the community that comes with sharing my work online, especially during these trying times. It's been a source of comfort, of connection, and of friendship! And one of the friends I've made over the past few months has been with Marcel Le Corgi and his sweet Maman, Aurélie .
We met in person last year after I spotted them in an Apple store in London and we've been chatting ever since, we had been planning on a photoshoot together and then everything changed and it was put on hold. But that's the beautiful part of the community here, we are not limited by our distance, we can be inspired to create with it! So Marcel and I have joined each other digitally for a spot of tea and biscuits (he's well known for his treat cam) floating high above the world in a moment of friendship. And that's what I truly love about the community here, it's not just names and faces, it's friends.
