Just returned from 9 days very welcome holiday on the island of Jersey. The lighthouse is one of my favourite spots, although this one is missing the sea at low tide.

La Corbiere pre sunrise, with the sun not playing ball today this was the best I could do.

Le célèbre train reliant Dourges à Perpignan via le sud-ouest est vu passant Névian alors qu'il compte plusieurs heures de retard. Il arrivera dans quelques minutes sur Narbonne où il obliquera plein sud direction la capitale du Roussillon.

La Corbiere is the most southerly lighthouse in the British Isles and the first to be constructed from reinforced concrete. It’s also the only one on British land to have been commandeered and operated by German soldiers during WWII.

Just returned home after spending a few lovely days in Jersey.

The Corbières are a mountain region in Languedoc-Roussillon in southeastern France, located in the departments of Aude and Pyrénées-Orientales.
