Winter has definitely arrived - although this is yet another capture from last year. We had sort of a blizzard today with at least 10 inches of snow - and guess what? It is snowing again. Hoping for some good light tomorrow and some sort of a footpath ;-). You all have a great weekend, may the good light be with you as well...

It got up to 39 degrees while I was washing my car. So the only way to cool off was to hose myself down😁

The distant peaks across Idaho's Little Redfish Lake are not the primary theme with this image. It was the mix of fascinating clouds above and reflected below on the calm waters. Thought it worked well in b/w, perhaps more dramatically then an earlier post in technicolor (in comments).

In recent years, many pedicabs have appeared around the Houses of Parliament offering tourists rides to and around key tourist sites in Central London.

These pedicabs are frequently draped in colourful lights.

In the evening, these pedicabs make for a fun and eye-catching long exposure image if you catch them riding past your camera at the right time.

For best effects, get down low to the ground.

These days, even in the morning, it was too hot for a pleasant walk. In the forest, however, it looked quite different. These big trees are wonderful cooling machines. They evaporate huge amounts of water through their leaves and give off evaporative cooling to their surroundings. We should take good care of them.

NOTE TO SELF: Put in the refrigerator for us to eat during the week.
