yeah, another converse picture. i don't really like converse shots that much, but i'm not the most creative person, and i'm just trying to catch up on my 365. whatever.
I am the typical collector: I won't rest until I get what I want.
It took me a while to put this collection together, but now it is complete and I finally can move on to something else! :)
My last addition was OTS converse, the first in line.

Butterflies of summer # 10
Compared to yesterday's well-camouflaged Grayling flic.kr/p/2nApDfK Peacock butterflies (Aglais io) use a very different strategy to deter predators. Whilst the Grayling usually settles with wings closed during warm daylight hours, when a Peacock is settled in similar conditions, the butterfly is often seen with wings open. A spectacular pattern of eyespots have evolved to startle or confuse predators.
A story! During an early morning 0700 foray to check amphibian survey buckets, I was startled to find a Peacock roosting in one. It was far too cold for the insect to fly but it furiously flashed those wing spots at me. If I had been a predator, I would indeed have backed off!
Currently they're sampling my shoe, which means that if they get enough orders, then they will actually manufacture it! Isn't that fantastic. Keep your fingers crossed for me :)
