Paper Mill and Marina

Old Port of Quebec City, Quebec, Canada

A Sunday afternoon in Mechelen, Belgium.

It was the contrasts which caught my eye when I was setting up this scene... Along with the B&W harmonics it made for a nice composition.

What I did not see at the time was the 'Paisley' design the ducks created in their formation.

In one shot they were all in an almost perfect circle, but the overall composition wasn't appealing.

I also shot this scene with my Nikon, but somehow it all looked flat. - and now I don't even own a cellphone..

Winter has come to Denmark

The sun setting around a big tree provided the light/shadow in the background in this irrigated field. I have three boys, two away in college, so this one tugged the Dusty strings.

I will be gone Sat-Mon and I hope you all enjoy the weekend.

a really fun flock to photograph, this one. I might even post more of these birds in later weeks.

Have a nice weekend to everybody! 週末愉快！

Walking by the Faneuil Hall and saw the contrasting architectural styles of the modern buildings surrounding a colonial style building in downtown Boston

En tamaño grande se aprecian las casitas, al pie de la montaña y al borde del fiordo...
