There are 3 things that make a street photo work in my option. Good light or deep shadows, An interesting setting, and the right person. Get those three together and it's a shot i'm going to like.

Night time at the Dixie Inn, located in Hinckley CA, a town perhaps most famous for PG&E and Erin Brockovich. I illuminated the exterior and interior with warm white and blue lights from various angles with a handheld ProtoMachines LED2 light painting device while the camera's shutter was open. This was photographed during a week-long 1582-mile road trip with Mike Cooper.
