Adding a hole for cables to connect with the computer below reduces the clutter on the deck. The solid maple is beautiful with its 4 coats of cherry stain. The satn feel to the deck and bull-nosed edge makes it beautiful and comfortable to work on.

My computer didn't even last 60days before the motherboard went out. And just to rant some more, When buying a computer one question one might ask is how long do I have to return or price match it? Best Buy tells me 30 days. Looking through the paper I see Fry's have the same computer but for $85 cheaper. Get to Best Buy on day 15! only to be told that I was misinformed and should have been told 14 days and not 30.

The SAGE display is about the point at which dad started in on stories about working on SAGE at SDC, and ended up talking for the better part of an hour with the museum guide after the closing about old hardware, projects, and all sorts of other stuff. It worked out nicely, as the guide gave us a rundown on the Babbage Difference Engine (after the official closing time).
