This stapler uses strip staples which are identical to those of the Hotchkiss; it was a competitor to Hotchkiss when the first version was launched in 1921. This is the fifth and final version of this stapler, probably introduced in 1926 or 1927. It has one unique feature compared to the earlier versions — a staple release mechanism, which is activated by the metal lever shown at the rear of the stapler just above the rail onto which the staple strip is loaded. The company was acquired by Hotchkiss.
