This is a cute little Patsyesque doll that is in great need of repair. I just have to work up the nerve to try to fix her!

Esta foto busca ejemplificar la el contraste por tono como elemento de la composición fotográfica.

Como se puede observar, en toda la fotografía predomina la gama de color naranja; el personaje principal (Leo aka pequeño bembom) y su escenario (piso y pared) tienen colores de la misma paleta. En este contexto, la composición se logra al disntiguir perfectamente las sombras en el personaje principal (sus pliegues y pelaje) y también debido a que el punto de enfoque se encuentra en el personaje principal (su cara).

No debe pasar por desapercibido otro elemento que abona a la composición que es este efecto donde las partes del personaje principal no guardan la misma proporción entre sí.

This is a challenge i like to do to myself..and it is a great practice also... take a captive animal..and put it in the wild... masking the fur and making the compo look good and real is the challenge here.. i should have moved the sun out of the sky so we can't see it... would make more sense..but i felt it look better this way..anyway..i'll let you be the art director ;-)

You can see the actual shot below.. taking at Ecomuseum in Montreal..the only place i have seen a arctic fox... and he is in a cage, so this shot is taken threw a wire fence..... one day i will go see the ..wild one..but for now i'm just gonna make them free ;-)

Good idea from a local photographer.

You enter the giant bubble and it's full of paper snow with a blower at the bottom. They shoot you from the outside.

It looks okish.. I think the material of the bublle kill it a bit.

So I choose to shot form the outside and true love from mum and baby was the perfect framing.

Zeeraket

Het leven op het strand is hard voor een plant, maar zeeraket kan er overleven. In de zeereep, de eerste duinenrij, en op het strand kom je hem vaak tegen. Zijn bladeren lijken op die van vetplanten. Opvallend zijn ook de lila, soms witte, bloemen. Hij leeft op ondergestoven dode planten en dieren. De afbraak daarvan levert de voedingsstoffen op die zeeraket nodig heeft. Op het strand groeit zeeraket net zoals biestarwegras dan ook meestal op het vloedmerk. Beide planten houden zand vast. Dat kan het begin zijn van een nieuw duintje.
