Things get be a little complicated in city life.

The new Unreality.

Doing a bit of sliding in these times.

Vacation or travel is still a bit difficult for us, though slowly it seems that we can go on a small holiday in the Netherlands soon. The sliding is an idea the style of mr. Escher gave me. And yes, I ave copied a bit of his style here in photography. I don't think it's a sin. The original picture was taken in Rotterdam , from above the entrance to the trainstation Blaak . It was a rather sunny day . Without the sliding that station already looks complicated, but when one slides here, we get a real wow effect in my opinion.

There is a lady going up on the escalator, and there is one person standing in front of the kiosk. They are reflected three times, while the stairs and the red handrails are giving this processed photo it's magical mathematical style. Going up and down at the same time.

Chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) is a complication of pulmonary embolism and a major cause of chronic PH leading to right heart failure and death. Lung ventilation/perfusion scintigraphy is the screening test of choice; a normal scan rules out CTEPH. In the case of an abnormal perfusion scan, a high-quality pulmonary angiogram is necessary to confirm and define the pulmonary vascular involvement and prior to making a treatment decision. PH is confirmed with right heart catheterisation, which is also necessary for treatment determination. In addition to chronic anticoagulation therapy, each patient with CTEPH should receive treatment assessment starting with evaluation for pulmonary endarterectomy, which is the guideline recommended treatment. For technically inoperable cases, PH-targeted medical therapy is recommended (currently riociguat based on the CHEST studies), and balloon pulmonary angioplasty should be considered at a centre experienced with this challenging but potentially effective and complementary intervention.

A knot is an intentional complication in cordage which may be practical or decorative, or both. Practical knots are classified by function, including hitches, bends, loop knots, and splices: a hitch fastens a rope to another object; a bend fastens two ends of a rope to each another; a loop knot is any knot creating a loop; and splice denotes any multi-strand knot, including bends and loops.A knot may also refer, in the strictest sense, to a stopper or knob at the end of a rope to keep that end from slipping through a grommet or eye.Knots have excited interest since ancient times for their practical uses, as well as their topological intricacy, studied in the area of mathematics known as knot theory.

I lost my Baby Sister Patrice to complications from Surgery. It still does not seem real. I had to keep checking my phone messages when I woke thinking it must have been a awful dream. But it was not. She was gone. It was so sudden and unexpected we all are struggling with the realization that My Beautiful Sister is gone. So I have picked this pink rose to honor her. Her wonderful smile, big and given freely to anyone who crossed her path. She was Beautiful incredibly intelligent and compassionate. She had a great sense of humor and I can still hear her giggle. She was so filled with light and love. I will miss her dearly.

The Blue Moon rise over the lake was magical. I was able to escape the daily complications of life for 5 minutes to bask in the glorious 2nd full moon of October 2020 This is a composite in Photoshop of 5 photos. #ThroughHerLens

A watch, especially a complication like this one, comes with many labels to identify the various parameters of time. This Oris moon phase, dual time zone complication is powered by the Calibre 581 developed in 1991 by its watchmakers in Holstein, Switzerland.. This particular watch has performed flawlessly through many time zones for many years. Submittal for the 6/15/20 Macro Monday's theme of "Label.”

Walking past the numerous couples and small groups, the city spread out endlessly. From any number of places in Hong Kong, it's difficult to see anything but building and sky.

Hello my beautiful people!! I'm really really sorry for been very inactive, I have some complications with my RL, however I've tried everything to be able to continue making my posts, I hope these complications are resolved so I can be much more active again!

Today I bring you one more picture of the many I have to show you! I made a collab with my mother from SL and one of my best friends and my older sister from RL (not directly :c), my dear and beloved Joy. I hope you give it a lot of love and share it with your friends, it would help me a lot to continue growing as a blogger <3 <3.

Branchage literally means 'branches'.

The branchage refers to the law which ensures that any vegetation growth that overhangs roads and footpaths is cut back. This includes hedges, branches, trees, shrubs, grass and flowers etc.

Sanderling

15.21.23.10.2025

I’ve always enjoyed photographing sanderlings...they’re my favourite shorebird. For the past 15 years, however, I’ve longed to see and photograph purple sandpipers. On several occasions, I travelled long distances hoping for close views, only to be told “they’ve gone” or “they’re over there”...usually meaning 100 yards away and completely inaccessible.

Earlier this year, I finally had the chance to photograph purple sandpipers on the west coast. Unfortunately, I was dealing with a secondary cataract and other complications in my eye, which made it difficult to see clearly. Thank goodness for modern autofocus cameras! I managed a few shots of the sandpipers at their evening roost. They weren’t quite the images I had envisioned, but I was happy with what I got.

That said, I wouldn’t have gone home disappointed either way...I had an absolute blast with the sanderlings. The image I’m sharing here might be a bit pedestrian, but I like it, and perfectly content to show it.

My own hand for the theme of ‘Hand(s)’ for the group ‘Looking Close…..on Friday,’

Fifteen weeks ago, as it was a fine day, decided to make a start on sorting out the garden after the winter. Midway through the afternoon, caught my foot on a lump of earth as I was moving around and fell forwards, hitting the ground with some force and crushing my left arm and hand beneath my body!

Oh dear, it hurt!

I had broken the Radius very badly in my arm and also damaged and rearranged the bones in my wrist as well as crushing the hand and fingers. Later found that I had re broken some ribs that I had broken just a year or so ago!

Since then I spent seven weeks in plaster, six weeks with a removable splint and the last two weeks wearing this very tight compression glove that gives my hand and wrist some support and reduces the swelling.

My hand and wrist suffered complications in the natural repair ending up healing wonky due to the radius impacting, where the shaft and head of the radius collapse into each other!

Going to need a double operation to shorten the ulna, correcting the twist in my arm and hand as well as work to correct the position of the bones in my wrist!

So, the moral of the story is no gardening, it’s too dangerous!

Oh, and no driving for months. I shot this image using my handheld phone plus timer!

It is with much sadness and a heavy heart, that our beloved Toby passed away today due to complications with end stage kidney / liver disease and diabetes. He will be so greatly missed. All of your kind faves and comments throughout his wondrous life have been so greatly appreciated.

Bij deze een update over mijn gezondheid problemen

Ik kan nog niet lang achter de computer zitten en gaan fotograferen

Heel veel complicaties na mijn val.

Vandaar dat ik maar een foto uit mijn archief heb opgezocht,

Ain't No Doubt About It (From "ZOMBIES 3"

www.youtube.com/watch?v=RP6P7ULw_F8

It's you and me for the rest of our lives together

We're not breaking up, we're not falling out

We won't change (I hope)

Living perfectly, so happily, 'til forever

When it comes to trust

There's nothing that we can't say (I hope)

We're not worried

Definitely not worried at all

So disturbing

How all of these stars align (like, how?)

We're not nervous

And totally unconcerned with

Things uncertain (and there's a lot)

We're gonna be fine, so fine

Ain't no doubt about it

It's working out right, all right

All I'm thinkin' 'bout is

How everything's gonna be okay

No complications in our way

It's fine, we're fine

Ain't no doubt about it

Honestly, if you're asking me, we're not crazy

Yeah, we're old enough to know we're in love

That's no lie (but we're 17)

If you promise me that we'll always be on the same page

Then I promise, too

I'll be choosing you every time (every-every time?)

We're not worried

Definitely not worried

So disturbing

How all of these stars align

We're not nervous

And totally unconcerned with

Things uncertain

We're gonna be fine, so fine

Ain't no doubt about it

It's working out right, all right

All I'm thinkin' 'bout is

How everything's gonna be okay

No complications in our way

It's fine, we're fine

Ain't no doubt about it

It's all going according to plan

It's all falling right into our hands

Nothing to it, let's get it moving, moving

Find the map and be on our way home

We'll be leaving here before you know

With what we needed

Mission completed

We're not worried

Definitely not worried

So disturbing

How all of these stars align

We're not nervous

And totally unconcerned with

Things uncertain (this isn't gonna be good)

We're gonna be fine, so fine

Ain't no doubt about it

It's working out right, all right

All I'm thinkin' 'bout is

How everything's gonna be okay

No complications in our way

It's fine, we're fine

Ain't no doubt about it

Unfortunately, we had to cut our 4th of July fireworks celebration a little early this year due to some complications. Apparently, igniting explosives too close to aircraft carrying fuel and ordnance is frowned upon by some....

"Like the tennis player and the oboist and the guy who fixes hard drives, we need practice to get good at what we do. There is one difference in medicine though: it is people we practice upon."

~ Atul Gawande from Complications: A Surgeon's Notes on an Imperfect Science.

A great read, with thoughtful and honest insights about doctors and medicine.

I think that you can all tell that I am in a philosophical mood these days. There are so many complications in life that we, the people, have to solve and surely at the forefront is our inability to let go of the negative forces and embrace the positive ones. It is time for us to collectively come up with good reasons to work together for the better for ALL. In the long run, selfishness does not gain us anything, in fact we lose! Let's find ways to help one another, make the world a smaller place in which all are welcome. It is possible, we can and must do it!!!

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️❤️❤️
