This weekend I spend some time to fold the ‘Potted Plant’-variations. Each of them is made out of four elements:
- the flowerpot
- the bloom
- the leaves
- and the stem
On the left 'Daffodil', in the middle 'Poppy’ or 'Pansy' and on the right ‘Crocus' or ‘Tulip'.
Final height 12cm.
Paper: double colored Kraft paper
I made a photo of each ‘Potted Plant’ and then ‘merged’ the 3 photos together :-))

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is an orange day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Crazy Tuesday is Complementary Colours . So of course my choice is : blue and orange. And who is the best to choose colors and decorate your space in a very unique manner ? Mr. Teddy Bear of course ! Which is perfect since we celebrate Happy Teddy Bear Tuesdays today ! So official triple challenge day !
Mr. Teddy Bear, who is a designer in his spare time (yes, he has many, many very different jobs on his CV…) had to paint a room for a set of two dinosaurs brothers… By the way the dino brothers are twins… not identical but almost: Igor and Grichka Bogddanooff . Please dont confuse them with the famous Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff but they are related : all the four ( two Bogddanooff and two Bogdanoff) share the same third-great-great-great-grandparents.
The Dino twins wanted a very precisely delimited space. So, Mr. teddy Bear decided to go with two solid and complementary colors: orange and blue… or blue and orange. And since blue and orange are Dino brothers favorite colors of all the time, no wonder the twins were thrilled with the new decor !

This Eastern Bluebird was a natural for this week's Crazy Tuesday theme, which is "Complementary Colors." Blue and orange are one of the color pairings that the theme description specifically calls out. Those colors are to be "the eye-catcher/main subject" of the image.

Today in my orchard. The other day we had an attack of starlings but luckily they only ate cherries from the tops of the trees which are very high and we certainly couldn’t pick them.

Opposite colours on the colour wheel. For the purpose of the image the blue petals are from a sweet pea and the orange from a begonia.

After retreating from Bamburgh beach, I took a walk in order to find a good view of the castle. I took the opportunity to explore some of the surrounding area, and ended up happening upon what looked like a large pillbox. Climbing to the top I was met with this stunning stretch of winding water; Budle Water.
This landscape, with the vibrant blues and oranges, and the water stretching out towards Lindisfarne Castle is perfect for a wide landscape shot, and I couldn't pass by without exploring some of its potential.
This would be my first time exploring this area. It struck my how changeable it is, even when compared to other coastlines. I will be posting others of my trips to this area soon.
