The Happy Caturday theme this week is "Sense of Comfort" ! This may look very comfortable but Tofu loves to sleep on these rocks. It's probably the cat version of a hot stone therapy.

Yes, the season has changed, evenings aren't as warm and the air is a bit chilly. Where I live isn't as obvious as the vegetation of the islands is perennial in nature. Except for some chestnut and walnut trees, the changes in colors are not so noticeable here...
But still, as it happens in other parts of the world, little by little the landscape changes, and we just have to adapt ;)

Comfy Cat Nap Prissy is out cold along with her little teddy bear, she can go to sleep very quickly it seems, shot in North Carolina.
I wanted to remove that white speck from her nose, but she'd have been so annoyed that she'd walk away and shut down our photo session.

This Song Sparrow was just sitting there, watching people going by. It looked so comfy, I almost wanted to go back to bed. It finally stood up on one leg and preened for a while before flying away.
The final phase of nest building, collecting the comfy stuff! Momma Osprey will be so happy when he gets back with this load of dead grasses that she will be parked on for the next several weeks of incubation.
I hope they never discover memory foam…dead grass will never be treasured again!
When it comes to shoes gnomes tend to go for comfort more than practical.
